Daddy

I'm waiting for that one phone call that everyone dreads. The phone call where part of your life ends.

Friday night the hospice nurse told my mother my father had 24 hours. Today is Sunday and he is still with us. Today the nurse came by and can't believe he is still with us.

It's time to go daddy. I love you, but it's time to rest.

Hugs. I am so sorry. I have a friend going through the same thing. Her mother has terminal stomach cancer. They sit and wait for the inevitable. I know how difficult it must be. I am thinking of you.

I am so very very sorry. I waited for a similar call a little while ago and can not imagine how much worse the agony must be when it is someone this close to you. I'm praying for strength and comfort for all of you and sending hugs your way.

Thank you all for your condolences. I will be heading out to Washington State this week.

I'm hoping to get my mom out of Washington after the services sometime and down to Florida, sometime soon.
