Dear Fellow Commuter;
I understand that gas prices are outrageous. I know how people are really hurting when it comes to having to fill their gas tanks. I really appreciate all that people are trying to do to conserve fuel.
But come on folks, I have work to do.
If you are really trying to conserve fuel, save our environment, or whatever, sell the damn SUV that you are driving! Get rid of it!
While I understand driving at the speed limit or 5 miles below will save you some gas, it doesn't do much good when you drive a Suburban.
And while I am on it, if you want to follow the whole "let's all drive 55 mph even though the speed limit is 65 to save fuel", do it between 9 am and 4 pm, not when I am trying to get to work!
Thank you

I love it. And 2nd that proposal!
Hahahaha! Okay, let me start by saying that I own both a Suburban and a Honda. We drive the Honda around to run errands (and save ourselves gas money!), and then use the Suburban when we have the kids (and dogs too!) piled in the car.
But my absolute favorite is when they get in the far left-hand lane and drive under the speed limit! GET OVER PEOPLE! Especially here in Texas where they made that lovely law that states I can't pass you on the right side even if you are driving under the speed limit. And yes, that is me honking at you!
AMEN SISTAH!
catscratch-we should start a revolution.
trish-my route to work involves a two lane road. They slow down, to save fuel, but there is so much traffic the other way you can't pass.
tug-I was late to work this morning. :(
I think that calls for a glass of wine tonight! ;-)
yeah, 'cause we need an excuse. heh
I don't have to fight the traffic anymore, but I'm one hundred percent on your side. Get out of my way!
VERY well said!!!!!!
oh I agree! The traffic here is CRAZY! It's even more fun that one of the freeways here is under construction so it's down a lane haha.
tug-or two glasses!!
mushy-I will be able to say that someday. I hope.
ann(ie)-thanks, wanna go for a drive?
kayli-that's right you have all that I-5 traffic. Yuk!!
