He Found a Home!!

Last weekend I posted about Gizmo needing a new home. Well, he found one.

Yup, a lovely home with another Shih Tzu. No small children living there. Some toddlers and small children visit, but they don't live there.

Fenced yard, pool, screen enclosure. Lots of love and dog toys.

Lovely home.

My house.

Sigh....

Two vet bills. (I'll bet Gizmo is a lot easier to handle than Cesar)

Two groomer bills. (just wait until he gets bows in his ears!!)

Two boarding bills (for when we travel, which we do).

Two food bowls. (which neither dog will eat out of their own, they will eat out of the other)

Two dogs sleeping in the bed. (great, between Cesar and Not A Grampy I'm already on the very edge)

miss britt-I wanted to take him in the beginning, but Not a Grampy said no. Then all of the sudden last night he changed his mind. LOL

mr fab-I know, lots of wine. Luckily this dog doesn't like wine!

nanna-when you come and visit, we will have to get the dogs all together!

LOL..you know..you were the first person I thought of when I read you were looking for a home for him. ROFLMAO!

It'll all work out..and when the kids come to visit, it won't be the same as living with him, he'll learn to deal with them in small doses or hide under the couch! LOL

Awwwwwwwww! You're so kind to give him a home. :D Two dogs really aren't that much more than one. And they'll give you a discount on the boarding for the second...see, you'll save money...okay not but still. hehe

Have you ever tried Banfield for your vet needs? We do the plan with them and it's really reasonable.

I'm glad I didn't mention the Gizmo thing to my wife because she would have told me to adopt him.

KG-I am going to need that discount in a couple of weeks.

avi-no I haven't heard of them. I will check into it. Now see, I need your wife's email address. You are home all day, you would love him!

Banfield just has a monthly subscription that covers all check-ups and they're open on weekends, which is nice.

And since we eventually want to have kids, it wouldn't be good to get a dog that isn't good with kids. I actually talked to my wife about it this weekend.
