October Already?

OMG is it really October already? Halloween is only 29 days away, then Thanksgiving, then Christmas! Sheoot!! Only 84 DAYS til Christmas! Can you believe that?

Are you done with your Christmas shopping yet? Have you even started? I have like one small item for my mother.

On top of everything else, we will be flying out to Washington State for Thanksgiving. Yup, flying during one of the busiest times of the year! To snow and cold! I live in Florida for a reason, I don't like the snow and cold. I don't like having to put my hands into thingys that are supposed to keep them warm and then just make them wet. I don't like not being able to wear sandals and flip flops. (do you have any idea how cold toes can get in flip flops in the snow?)

But it is all for a good cause. Besides Thanksgiving, we will be celebrating my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. Looks like we will be having quite the get-together, if we can get my father out of the house.

Did I mention that they don't know that Not A Grampy and I will be coming out? Total surprise! I really like surprising my parents!!

My daughter has started her shopping...me - notsomuch.

I wear flip flops year round unless I'm shovelling. Then it's boots.

Shopping? People really think I'm buying presents this year? Hmmph! Bah-hum-bug already.

LOL...seriously...I LOVE to go Christmas shopping...not sure funds will be available for much this year though. *pout*

I have some presents bought but certainly not all or even close to done. I try and get it done earlier each year but for some reason that seems to push me back even further??? As for the craziness of flying during the holidays good luck!!!! :-)
Also I do know how cold your feet can get in flip flops when walking in the snow cause sadly I don't like wearing shoes so I push my limits. :-)

That is awesome! It might still be warm there in November. Strange weather has been happening up here in the north these last several years.

LOVE the new design.

make sure dad doesn't pull one of his trick where he comes flying out of his chair if you surprise them too much! ;o]

Tell Washington "hi" for me while you're there please! Especially if you're in Seattle!
