Oh isn't it amazing how fast they grow up? It seems grandbabies grow up even faster than kids!

Happy Birthday to YOU as a Not a Granny!!!!

nanna-Isn't that the truth! It just seems like yesterday we were all heading to the hospital for the birth.

Mr. fabulous-I didn't know! (cry, whine, grovel). But I am absolutely thrilled to learn that my oldest grandchild has the honor of sharing such a day with someone who is completely incomparable, so amazing, wonderful, well respected, an icon in the blogging world. (although, I don't think I will let him read you for a few more years)

That last picture tugs at my heart. So adorable. So full of pride. So happy. No worries. Perfect kindergarten beam. How do they grow up so fast?

Yesterday, my kindergartener asked me when I was "NOT" going to be his mother anymore? Flabbergasted, I said "always." He sighed. "No, Mom, when will I not live with you anymore?" He already thinking ahead, when I just want to dig in my heels.

The thought made me teary, but then I thought of you and your grandkids. There's never an end to the love and hope. They may grow up, but they make more.

Have a great day, not a granny.

Is there a way to get grandkids by somehow bypassing the middle step (kids)? Cause that's something I might consider...
