Okay, I have been tagged by Sheila with my first meme. It will get done, believe me. I just am not sure if I know 5 people to pass it on to who haven't already done it. What happens then? Do they go to meme heaven/hell. The poor meme...not passed on, left to wither and die just because I don't know 5 other people. How sad.
What about the word meme? Who in god's sweet creation came up with that one? Well, looky here I just answered my own question with a Google search....Biologist and evolutionary theorist Richard Dawkins coined the term meme in 1976.[1] He gave as examples tunes, catch-phrases, beliefs, clothing fashions, ways of making pots, and the technology of building arches. Okay, what in the name of complete confusion does the making of pots and the technology of building arches have to do with what I was doing 10 years ago?
I am sure someone like Avitable can explain it very eloquently. I just like using his name now that I know how to pronounce it correctly. I wander around the office just repeating it over and over...(I have been known to become a little OCD on occasion).
Anyway, thank you Sheila for allowing me to learn something new. I will get it completed and sent out. I will not be the cause of a meme reaching a premature death.
PS If you haven't already done so, be sure to pop over to Bluepaintedred and wish her a Happy Birthday. She is demanding E-Cards so be sure to send one of those also. We really don't want her to get angry...we may loose the state of California.

Hi NYTG:
We live close to each other -- well, relatively close; I'm in Plant City.
I yearn for grandchildren and have none. If my kids don't come up with some soon, I'll have them myself!
Anyway, your profile could be mine! I'm Chardonnay all the way --usually Kendall Jackson. And my husband HOGS the tv and falls asleep too! He can sense if I sneak the remote and change it to HGTV. "Turn it back! Turn it back!, snore, snore."
Army Mom-Yes I actually met you through Jan's site, Standing By. I was raised in Wenatchee, Washington. Which isn't real far from where Kayli lives.
Oh my holy hell...thank you for visiting my place today! I read your 'about me', &..it's ME. LOL. I have tattoos too...my grandkid's footprints! Come back & visit soon, & thanks for stopping!
hey! I dont want California!
.... Texas is where the cowboys are at
I know how to pronounce Avitable, but I prefer to say it incorrectly. In my head, this makes him throw fits.
Tug-I will definitely be back to visit. How could I not, Hell, Colorado? The postmark must be fun!
Blue-Lots of dust and sand in Texas. Wonder if you can see the cowboys through all the dust.
Mist1-I am too new to this blogging. I don't want Avitable shaking anything at me (especially after the snake vidoe, still having nightmares)
Hi again....yes you may link to my blog. Thank you
